I'm really stuck on whether I should switch my chemistry A level for something else like psychology. In year 10 I was at a grade 5 and now I'm aiming for an 8/9 in my GCSE but I want to go into biotech in the future and a lot of courses require chemistry. Do people generally find chemistry more interesting at A level? My sixth form does OCR.
For biology as well my school does Edexcel A (salters Nuffield) which I've heard from years above that it's a really random exam board and choice and one of the hardest for Biology
I've also picked maths (edexcel) and I've had awful attendance y10 and y11 so I've had to revise for it the most and my grades have gone up a lot since the start of this year
I also picked EPQ not sure which exam board with but I want to do a topic centred around biology specifically DNA digital data storage.
For GCSEs I'm hoping for a 9 in biology, an 8/9 in chemistry and a 8/9 in maths, but I just wanted to ask anyone who's doing these A levels with these exam boards for specific tips and any help?? And even after struggling with chemistry a lot and maths can I still do well at A level?
