Coming to Our June Open Day? Here’s What to Explore on and Around Campus! 🎉

Hi All,

If you’re visiting City St George’s for our June Open Day 👉 Book your place here, here are a few places to explore both on campus and in the local area. It’s a great way to get a feel for where you could be studying!

🌳 Northampton Square
This green space sits right outside the main university buildings and is a popular spot for students to relax between lectures or grab lunch in the sun.

☕️ Campus Cafés & Canteen
There are four cafés on campus (that I know of!) and at least three have seating, perfect for a coffee break or a study session. There’s also a large canteen that serves hot meals and is usually buzzing during lunchtime.

👋 The Student Hub
Make sure to stop by the Student Hub; it’s the main point of contact for student services and support. Whether it’s well-being, finance, or general questions, the team there is always helpful. It’s also a nice place to sit, take a break, and recharge during the day.

🍽️ Local Food & Culture
Nearby Exmouth Market is full of food stalls, cafés, and bakeries ideal for a lunch break or coffee stop. You can also explore Angel Market and some great spots around Clerkenwell. The local vibe is really lively and student-friendly.

🎭 The Barbican Centre
About a 15-minute walk from campus, the Barbican is one of London’s biggest arts venues, with free exhibitions, performances, and quiet areas to relax or even study.

🚇 Transport Links
City is really well connected. Stations like Farringdon, Angel, and Barbican are all close by, making it easy to get around London.

Good luck, and if you have any questions before the day, feel free to ask. Happy to help! 😊
