Special Consideration

Hello, just to start I am eligible for reduced offers at 4/5 of the unis I applied to but for some reason not at the one I wanted to attend. I'm not sure why, it wasn't the highest ranked or most competitive uni that didn't provide a reduced offer, it is a mid tier RG uni. I emailed the admissions department who assured me there was no mistake and I was not eligible. My circumstances also changed a few months ago (family bereavement, school rating changing) I emailed the university to inform them of these changes and response was short and I felt largely unhelpful. My head of sixth will contact the uni on my behalf but he refuses to admit to any of the schools several shortcomings. I think all of these things have seriously impacted me in a way that the university hasn't realised. Any advice would be seriously appreciated.

Each university has their own process for mitigating circumstances/contextual offers/widening participation schemes. I don't think there's really much you can do in this situation - you provided the information to the university and they deemed it did not qualify for whatever reduced offer schemes they run. Unless you can find clearly documented policy on their webpages that specifically includes your particular circumstance, which they did not follow, I don't think there's anything more to be done.
