Geography Interview preparation

Heyy

I am hoping to apply to Cambridge for geography for 2026 cycle and have no clue what the interviews are going to be like.

I have watched YouTube videos and they are all honestly so different in style and structure.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to prepare for an interview and how to structure answers?

(I’m hoping to apply for Sydney Sussex college)

It can vary a bit depending on your interests and they do vary a lot year-on-year. If you have mentioned topics on your personal statement, then it is possible that they will ask about them, but they may also not. I wouldn't recommend planning the structure of your answers too much as you don't want it to look too rehearsed.

On a side-note, if you have any questions about Sidney, I'm happy to answer (current fourth year)
Hello, I applied to Med so not quite the same but in general I would recommend watching lots of YouTube videos (don't stress too much about learning everything or if they're different, just to kind of get the feel of interviews), keep up with personal supercurricular reading and if there's any relevant geography breakthroughs or something? Revising your A Level content might be good as well
