What are your Summer Plans? - Let us know!

Hey all!

With summer just around the corner, starting officially on Saturday 21st June I thought it would be nice to share our Summer Plans!!!

I'll start! Being a Master's student will be meaning I'll be finishing off my degree for the most part, along with work (still gotta pay the bills ahaha!), and most scary and exciting of all, I will be moving into a new place for a bit more on the longer-term side!

I will enjoy summer still, I just hope you all have a more exciting summer than me - I'd love to hear what you're doing so I can live vicariously through all of you!!!

Let us know what your Summer Plans are bellow! :danceboy:

All the best wishes and have the best summer,

Harry

Ohh! That's good, very proactive, may I ask what A-Levels you are studying for?

And work experience! How amazing - where are you getting some work experience?

Maths and biology currently so I’ll need to review year 12 content for them. I also plan to read ahead for maths on the pure content with the aim of completing a full a level past paper and getting a B by the end of the summer. Ill also be preparing for a third a level which ill start in September, probably environmental science but maybe physics or further maths… not sure yet!
Im doing work experience at a science consultancy firm which is very exciting if a little daunting!

That sounds amazing - the planning and the work experience - you'll be great! Keep up the good stuff!!
I'm currently trying to do a huge tidy up of the entire house and garden (my garden currently looks like a jungle).
I'm also putting together a GCSE Classical Civilisation video course so that is taking all of my time.
My youngest son and I have befriended some local geese, so daily visits to the pond are an absolute must.
My cousin is coming over to stay with us from Paris at some point although he hasn't given me the dates yet.
My youngest son turns 12 next month and my mam turns 76 the following day, so there's a double birthday celebration for that to plan.
Another son turns 18 in August so that's a big birthday to plan.
My husband's kidney issues seem to have returned so I have to take him for blood tests and so on.
And somewhere in amongst all that I need to prepare for September at which point I'm starting my master's degree, another one of my sons turns 15 on 24th, my daughter turns 20 on 25th, my undergrad graduation is on 26th, and on 28th I need to move my daughter into halls of residence as she's starting uni, roughly 350 miles from home.

So I guess my summer is a little busy to say the least.

Hey, thank you for sharing this,

That GCSE Classical Civilization course sounds fascinating, and trips to the pond down the road remind a little me of my own childhood, how lovely.

Sounds like there's a lot happening over summer for you, birthdays, visits and all the rest of it - but hopefully should be a nice, positive and busy summer!

I wish your husband all the best with the kidney issues, and hopefully the blood tests will help find out how to help with resolving any issues. ❤️

The Master's degree is a big one - just don't let it overshadow everything and make sure you look after yourself to make sure you're able to do your best would be my top advice there, as a fellow Master's student ahaha!! What are you studying?

Also best of wishes to your daughter who is also starting university, how we all miss the undergraduate life once it's over!!!

One definitely busy but hopefully rewarding summer, I hope all is well over summer,

Harry

thanks! we've been to Llandudno a few times, I love it! but my daughter is bored of it so she jumped at the chance of going abroad.
I have been to Nantes once, several years ago

I hope you are able to enjoy some kind of holiday during the summer
