Is UoM diverse?

Is university of Manchester diverse? I’ve grown up in a very white dominated town and want to go to a uni that is much more diverse. Anyone who is at UoM or is going to go do you know if it’s diverse? Is there a lot of brown people and Muslims? Thanks

I'm not going there for uni, but my sister has, and so I've gone there multiple times . Short answer, yes, it is. As a Muslim herself, she naturally met loads of Muslims and became friends with them, lived with them, etc. Trust me, Wimslow road is full of brown ppl, not just asians, but from all over the world. Also, a bunch of societies for Muslims. Not a concern at all, dw.
