Tutoring

Hi everyone, i’m looking for some tutoring to do in the summer holidays since i’ve finished my A-Levels. I was wondering which websites I could use. Does anyone know any good remote work websites? Thanks!

I use superprof to advertise. I started when I finished gcses and it was a bit slow at first. My boyfriend also started in the middle of a levels and thats been slow too but once you get a few people and some good reviews it picks up. You can do online on there and it sets up the meet for you.

Heyyy, yeah i think i made an advert for that, i guess it’s just the slowness that puts you off. Did you advertise anywhere else like facebook or?

I started at the beginning of year 12 so I wasn't super desperate for a job and I just waited it out. I reckon you could though or ask your friends and family to recommend you to people they know?

Sorry, but reputable tutoring companies aren't going to be employing school leavers who want to do some ad hoc work. Passing an A level well effective tutor, mainly because it's highly unlikely you have any experience of teaching and learning, pedagogy or experience in developing effective interpersonal academic relationships with tutees and their parents (who are the ones who'll be paying for it).

Maybe, just depends on the company I guess and whether they’re willing to hire you if you’re a school leaver

Subjects are various from business to art, I have professors ready but there are difficulties into marketing our group campaigns.

Having read that, I think there's a rather more obviously pressing problem.

Oh I actually just checked that you need some sort of a language teaching certificate to use the affiliate link, so it won’t help much 😅 sorry. You can also try to apply to Tutorful or Superprof. I personally also use Superprof.
