year 10 gcse mocks

hey guys i have a higher maths paper 1 edexcel and chemistry combined science aqa paper 1 mock on monday and i want grade 9s in both of them any tips pls, also im not aiming for anything lower than a 9

hi, i wish you luck in your mocks! for maths if you want a grade 9, try doing the last four to five questions on different maths past papers, and look at maths genie videos and worksheets on grade 9 topics like graph transformations and algebraic probability, and just focus on topics that you struggle with, or if it came up, how confident was you feel answering the question? i think if you go onto mymathscloud they have "aiming for grade 9" maths papers with g9 questions and markschemes. for chemistry, though i don't do combined-- go over electrolysis. it's the one that people struggle with a lot, even if you're higher ability. i'd also say do a past paper or two, maybe, and try and answer the questions at the back because these are the ones that are the higher grade questions. in general, if you want a grade 9, focus on the last questions of a past paper for maths and sciences. hope this helps x
