will uni of birmingham accept me on results day?

I've just finished my a-level exams. My offer for birmingham is AAB and my offer for my insurance (loughborough) is ABB - i really want UOB but i dont mind either. My issue is, i'm worried im going to get BBB on results day - what are the chances that uob or lboro will accept me anyway?

Also, if i get rejected, can i still apply to uob with my grades through clearing??

Your chances of being accepted even if you just miss your offer grades would depend on how many places are left on the course (if any) once offer-holders who did meet their offer conditions have had their places confirmed. Unfortunately, that's unknowable.

What degree is this for?

Thanks. If you do get BBB, you will have good company. In recent years, that's been the most common achieved grade profile for candidates accepted onto a History and Politics degree by University of Birmingham (source).

Note that this does not mean that they'll confirm your place if you were to get BBB this year. Other candidates may do particularly well, meaning that there are fewer places available for those who have missed their offer conditions. What's happened in the past does. It necessarily predict the future.

Referring back you your first post, if your firm or insurance uni opt not to confirm your place, then applying via Clearing for the same course at either of those same unis would be pointless.
