UEA accommodation
Hi, I’m deciding between which accommodation to choose right now and I had a few questions. Does anyone know if en-suite village plus still exists as every time I search for room tours on YouTube, that’s what’s shown, but on the application form it’s only en-suite village. Is it just that all of the housing has been refurbished to have a similar standard? I really liked the en suite village plus as the bathrooms looked quite nice and the kitchens had convection ovens. Also, I am waiting until I find out my SFE entitlement in the next week or so, to know my budget before I apply. Is this ok as from my understand it’s random allocation not first come first served, or should I apply ASAP? Thank you

Hey! I went to an open day for UEA earlier this year, and they told us that all of the village rooms have been refurbished and have the new kitchens and bathrooms. Also, the rooms are allocated after results day so don't worry about applying late - as long as it's by the deadline your fine.

Hi! I've checked with the accommodation team and am pleased to say the last of the buildings in The Village are going to be upgraded over the next few months. Therefore come September there will be no Village Plus because they'll all be the same standard!
Allocation is also still done at random so no rush ☺️
