Lent vs Michaelmas application

Hi all. Was just wondering if people applying to the Michaelmas deadline have a higher chance of acceptance since it's a major deadline. I'm not worried about the funding part, I have an external scholarship. I'm applying for an MPhil in med sci and I have two supervisors on board so far. Just wondering how hopeful I should be.
