When should I worry about my Computer Science NEA?

Hi!
I'm in Year 11, just about to finish exams - My main subject which I'd like to pursue into University is Computer Science, and I'm very concerned for the NEA project.

My Media GCSE NEA only really started around Summer of Year 10, and so I'm unsure if similar to GCSE, our Second Year would focus on the NEA. Would I need to begin worrying about the NEA in First Year, or do I only start it in 2nd?

Which exam board? I'm on WJEC but I have friends that I can contact for OCR and AQA.
