Sixth Form choices

I have 2 many choices for Sixth form. My school and a grammar school which is really far from my home.

When I went to the interview for the second school I really enjoyed it however the distance is way too far compared to my current journey, I’ll have to take the train which may be stressful for me with A-Levels. However, my dad does actually works close to that school for a few days a week which will significantly decrease the journey time.

There is nothing wrong with my current school but I just feel tired of it and I don’t feel connected to anyone there, I really want a fresh new start. Again this school is more convenient as all my siblings go/are going to go and we can take the bus. It’s also a genuinely good school and I know the teachers for the subjects I picked are good.

The grammar school is also really competitive as it’s a grammar school and I’m not sure if I’ll even get in.

I want to go to the induction day for both of them but they crossover although my school one is a week(only 2 days and a morning) rather than a day so I could miss 1 day. I don’t know, I feel like if I don’t go to the induction day for the other school, I’ll inevitably not one to apply there again as I don’t know what it’s like and I’ll be basically be forced into only have one option. My parents say they’ll support me no matter what I pick but I don’t want to pick an option I’ll regret and will ruin 2 years of my life.

Go to the induction day then you can make an informed choice on results day. Otherwise, you may always be left wondering what if.
