Hiya!
Pharmacy is definitely a good choice if you’re more drawn to patient-facing clinical work.
At Bath we do offer a
preparatory year for students who have missed the
typical grade requirements of
AAB or equivalent (or the contextual / alternative requirements of ABB). This is provided at the University of Plymouth but run by the University of Bath.
The
entry requirements will typically depend on how many science and mathematics subjects you study in your A level subjects:
If you study Chemistry and at least one other maths or science subject:
CCC in three A levels including Chemistry and one other science or mathematics subject. If you study only Chemistry or one maths or science subject:
BCC in three A levels including Chemistry or one other science or mathematics subject. If you do not study any science or mathematics subjects:
ABB in three A levels.Equivalent qualifications are also considered.
It sounds like this could be possible for you given your UCAS points?
The preparatory year is intended to lead straight into the 4 year degree at the University of Plymouth site, but it is worth asking if you could transfer to another uni or even to the Bath Uni main site if that is important to you. I suggest emailing
[email protected] to confirm that.
As a 4th year pharmacy student, I’m happy to answer any questions you have about the degree or studying at Bath
