Sooo I applied for student finance before I selected my module. I've been accepted but put the wrong amount down. I know stupid... anyway just wondering if it's worth cancelling my application and just starting over...

I hope you are well! That is a very easy mistake to make so I am sure that SFE will understand and be able to help you solve it! Instead of cancelling your whole application I would suggest contacting SFE directly to see if they are able to change your application for you and put the correct amount down. If you cancel your application then it might cause some other issues.

As your application has been approved then it may be easier for them to change it for you. You can contact them via web chat or telephone. For telephone, 0300 100 0607 is the number you need or if you cannot hear or speak on the phone you can use text relay using these details, 18001 then 0300 100 0607. For the web chat, if you go onto your online account then the chat option will appear if someone is available! They are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm.

Thank you. So sorry I forgot to reply. The OU called me and said that It was fine me doing it this way and having the full amount gives me the flexibility if I want to pick up the next part of the stage earlier. She was really helpful tbh.
