medicine entry requirements

i am currently entering s6 and have just finished my highers. i think i will get As and Bs. i am interested in doing medicine and in my higher subjects i took maths and biology but as i understand i need higher chemistry as well, which im doin in s6. do i have a chance of getting in if i do H chemistry in s6 instead of s5? i am also planning on doing AH maths and biology in s6. any advice would be helpful :smile:

Well done with your highers sounds like they went well!! - bet your happy to have the exams out of the way now 😊 - I would think if you have all the other entry requirements for the courses they would give you a condition based on achieving the higher chemistry, however I would reccomend contacting the admissions department direclty and just confirming that this is an option as i know medicine is super competivie!

Usually, uni's have an email/phone number for the admissions department on their website. They can then consider your personal circumstances and clarify whether you meet entry requirements. - I'd do this for any uni your considering as the entry requirements will differ between institutions(:
