would it be worth it to go to college next year instead of uni?

Im wondering if it would be a good idea to figure out a way to do advanced higher Biology and chemistry next year as ive just started S6 and i will hopefully be accepted into Higher Chemistry at my local college soon. as doing this would give me a chance to do Dentistry at Glasgow University, i dont know if it would be worth it or i should just apply for optometry at glasgow caledonian and Medicine at St Andrews even though i definetly might not get in as i dont have Higher maths which is in the entry requirements..

Also, if i did dont go to uni after s6 and continued my education to recieve advanced highers and Higher maths. would getting my grades a year later then other people give me a disadvantage in my application since i would get my advanced highers after S6? even though my school offered all advanced highers in the same column as my college column...

Hello @milkafraser ,

The University will not know when you took your Advanced Higher, hence you shouldn't have a disadvantage at all, as long as you meet the requirements.

Good luck with your applications for Dentistry.
