Can't link student finance applications

Hi,

I've applied for student finance for the next academic year of university (my second year), but my mum cannot link her account to my application so has no way of supporting it. We have tried the email link sent when I originally applied, but it is not working, we have also tried the feature on the website where you can click 'support another application', but it doesn't work for us. I was wondering if there was any other way we could do it. I've seen other people on here who have had a similar issue upload a PFF2 form from their own account and was wondering if that option would work.

Hi there, yes, the PFF2 form can be submitted if your mother is unable to support the application via her online account.
You can find the 25/26 PFF2 here: https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/2526/ft/sfe_pff2_form_2526_o.pdf
This is an editable PDF file, that can be edited on a PC or laptop. Once completed, please upload this via your online account.
I have provided a guide (link) for to show how to upload via the online account:

It is option 4 under the contents section for 'Applies to England'. This will show you how to upload the required document / evidence. Once submitted this is currently taking an estimated 12 working days for review.
However this is an estimated timescale that is subject to change. Stephen.
