IB Subject Choices

What IB lessons would you suggest for someone aiming to go to Ivy League or Oxbridge schools for engineering, other than HL Maths and Physics?

Look at the 'entry requirements' on the course page on each Uni website.
It will state very clearly any essential subjects and any others that are 'preferred' .

Oxford - Engineering Sciences - 40 points (including core points) with 776 at HL (with 7s in HL Mathematics and Physics).

Imperial - Mech Engineering - 40 points - HL Maths 6, HL Physics 6. Preferred Maths, Analysis and Approaches or the Applications and Interpretation syllabi will be accepted at higher level, but Analysis and Approaches is preferred.

Bristol - Mech Engineering - 38 points overall with 18 at HL, including 7, 6 (in any order) at HL in Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches, or Applications and Interpretations) and any one of Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics or Computer Science.

Etc.

For Ivies I would recommend a humanities or social science subject (assuming you still get a 7) to show intellectual well roundedness.
