If you are struggling with the essay section I would recommend following LNAT's advice on how to prepare. They recommend reading newspapers to stay up to date with current news so you will be able to know the 'content' part of the essay section.
If you need help with how to write or structure your answer it may be worth reading JSTOR articles, or any academic articles really, (ideally on contemporary topics that may come up in your test) so you can look at how the authors structure their arguments. Have a look at style of writing and then when sitting practice papers try to imitiate any good styles into your own writing.
thank you, that is helpful. What would be considered a good score for this section?
Hey Saisha,
According to the Lawyer Portal a good LNAT score is 27, but if I remember correctly it is also dependant to the average of your year's average result. It's been a few years since I sat the test so my memory is a little hazy. I would recommend asking each individual university what their minimum requirement is. Some may have their LNAT requirement listed on their website.
