Can I cancel student finance after deferral?

I had student finance for a year, then took two years out on deferral, I've now accepted my offer to go back, so I'm assuming im automatically re enrolled. I need to apply for student finance foe the next year ASAP, but I've had a potential long term serious job offer I'm considering instead of going back to uni. Can I apply for tuition/maintenance loan and then cancel before September if I change my mind?

I've seen people saying it's fine to do that as long as you haven't enrolled yet but my issue is that I am already enrolled. Will it result in any fees or interest?

Sorry for the long explanation! its confusing! thank you!
Yes, if you decide not to continue to the course you can (and must) tell SFE to stop any payments going through.

You are not already enrolled - enrollment happens at the start of every academic year. Until you re-enroll at the start of the new academic year you are not enrolled.

Yes. I have done so before on more than one occasion.
