Any basic epq examples that is guaranteed A*/A

No Medicine course requires an EPQ. They will only look at your 3 A level subjects/grades, so you need to weigh up if its even worth doing an EPQ or if instead you should be putting all your efforts into your A levels.

Hi! I got full marks in my EPQ this year, and also aspire to do medicine at uni. I wouldn't say there is a certain 'method' in order to succeed, but I'd say make sure you choose a topic that truly interests you and make sure to include as much detail/resources/data as possible in your research. By ticking all the boxes, they can't penalise you! Although they say 'quality over quantity' I think one of the reasons I got an A* was because I included everything and more than what examiners are looking for/ask for. Hope this helps, lmk if you have any other questions bc I'd love to help!

It wont influence whether you get an interview or not.
Focus on your A levels and UKCAT.

I've written an essay on Type 1 Diabetes Management (read here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c75nq69yy22o ). Whilst I think that topic is too broad for an EPQ, you could take inspiration and look at the treatments available for a certain condition. You'll need to make it a narrow question, though, so I think something like my essay would be too broad. But I think that if you want to write a medicine-based EPQ then this is a way of doing so.

Although, I would like to repeat what the others have said above that an EPQ isn't necessary for applying to medicine and probably won't be of any/much importance to unis. This isn't to say that you shouldn't do an EPQ, though.

Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. 😊
