Just got my degree results at 60.84% at university of law. I have used the uni calculator and it says I have a 2.1. But i have now read further and seems this may be a 2.2. Could anyone let me know what the real cut off is at university of law please?

I believe that the cut off for a 2:1 with Ulaw is 60-69% however please speak to the faculty lead or email them and they will be able to clarify and point you in the right direction in terms of publications and policies that highlight this information

For the University of Law the standard degree classification cut-offs are:

First-class honours (1st): 70% and above

Upper second-class honours (2:1): 60–69.9%

Lower second-class honours (2:2): 50–59.9%

Third-class honours (3rd): 40–49.9%

With your mark of 60.84%, you're clearly above the 60% threshold, firmly placing you in the 2:1 category as officially the cut-off is exactly 60% for a 2:1, which the uni-calcualtor also appears to agree with. 😄

But if you're feeling unsure, I highly recommend emailing your academic coach, which can be found under 'key contacts' on the Elite App, or '[email protected]'

Hope this helps, and wishing you the best,
your fellow Ulaw student.
