Access to He colleges

Hey guys, I just contacted City College Plymouth for the Access course and they said they're no longer taking in students for this Sept.

Is this common?

I'm an international student and I'm not too sure when their deadlines are since some colleges do not explicitly state their deadlines.

I have just started writing to them but I thought since they would start in sept, an early june application would still be okay.

It might go by how many applicants they have already received which is enough numbers for the course. I know when I applied I had to go in August to enroll.

Some people who have already enrolled may change their mind. I would ring them and ask to be put on a waiting list if they have got it. I would also ask about closing dates for applications. It should tell you on there website or they should up date it accordingly, which is sounds like they didn’t.

Are there any other colleges around you that offer the course? Maybe ring and ask them that too.

Good luck

I don't know about specific colleges but yeah this is v late in the year to be applying. Most applications tend to be made sometime in winter.
