Personal statement for different courses

I am thinking about applying to LSE for economic history but then politics with economics at other universities like Bath as well as economics (BA) at Bristol. I don't know how I'm going to write my personal statement as it has to cover all of these courses and economic history at LSE would likely have to have a very tailored personal statement. Could anyone give me any advice on this please?

You can ask unis if you can send a separate statement but unis do not have to allow this

I'm kind of in a similar situation, applying to history and econ at most places (incl. LSE) and thinking of just straight econ (or straight history) at Bristol. Bristol does not care about your personal statement, so it is fine to just ignore it ig. Focus on LSE as much as possible, especially if it is your first choice

To be fair you could write about you love for econ and talk about economic history, its not like you're applying to music and law. Also, considering they are kinda simailar, you can talk about the political aspects of economic history like maggie/Reagan. Also what did u get in GCSE maths, you're gonna struggle without an a level in econ and politics icl

As mentioned above - it's worth checking which Unis actually read the PS for the course you are applying for or what emphasis they put on this. Bristol no longer reads PS for any subject, and there may be others.

When you guys talk about stats.. Talk about other things. Trust me.. Your grades are absolutely nothing. THOUSANDS of people have the same grades. What sets you apart?
That's the question

Hi @ArchieT443 I would advise evidence of interest in economic concepts e.g books, articles etc whilst including political links in your PS as well. I think this show an all round focus on both concepts.
