Childcare grant
was previously studying at the Open University (full time)and was told I wasn’t allowed to claim the childcare grant soas you can imagine, nursery fees left me short of money.I’m about to start a distance learning course throughNottingham Trent, would I still not get any help withchildcare costs? I think this is so unfair considering I amdisabled and cannot attend a university in person.

When I studied at the Open University, I was also doing 120 credits per year but was told I wasn’t allowed help towards childcare.

As the course advised above (LLB LAW DISTANCE LEARNING (3 years FT - LAW_163) DL) is a full time course and to qualify for the Childcare, students must be studying an eligible full-time course. Then under this criteria you may be eligible for support. However, this can only be confirmed at the time of review by the actual assessment team. Stephen.
