Scared to ask people out for birthday

It was my birthday last Sunday and I didn't think it was a good day to do anything. I was thinking of asking people this weekend but with it being end of term some of them went home and there aren't that many people I can ask. I'm worried some of them are likely going to have plans already and say no, especially since someone they know has a birthday this week as well. Then it'll be so embarrassing with just 3 of us so I don't know if its worth the risk.

ask anyway, even if it's just a couple of friends and you end up just getting food or something - I got into a habit of 'not bothering', and now I've done nothing with friends on my birthday for 37 years, and I hate it...it['s waaaay too late for me to start doing things, but not for you

Maybe just invite them all out anyway.. The other person with the birthday can maybe join, negotiate a kind of shared birthday outing if they say no then its okay go with family or just give yourself a treat or go out and have a good time with yourself 😁hopefully that helped.

Most of them said no and there wasn't enough people to do anything 😕

It's never too late for you though! You might as well give it a try
