What are my chances for Economics BSc at Warwick/UCL/LSE

Im a Y12 student right now studying 4 A levels Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics. My current predicted grades are an A* in Maths, A* in Physics, A in Economics and an A in Further Maths

I was one mark off the grade boundary for an A* predicted in Further Maths and my school has agreed to possibly raise it to an A* if I perform well at the test they are going to do at the start of the next school year.

For Economics I am going to try to see if its possible to raise it to an A* but I think it's less realistic (still possible though). I will also be doing the TMUA start of next school year and gonna make sure I do well in that.

Also have done a presentation at my school's economics society and I am already starting to read books and listen to podcasts to build the ideal personal statement.

Based on my current predicted grades of A* in Maths, A* in Physics, A in Economics and an A in Further Maths. What are my chances for the different unis. Additionally, how would my chances shift if i managed to get that A* in Further Maths (or econ aswell)

I also go to a private school and I know that this means unis are stricter on the requirements

I'm unfamiliar Warwick or LSE but I applied to UCL - didn't get in though. It's quite tricky to get into as it's a Russell Group Uni, though not undoable. I have a friend who was able to do it with an AAB (contextual offer and a good personal statement). I'd say as long as your personal statement is good, which yours seems to be, and your grades are fine, you have a chance, though, have a backup option is what I always advise.

No one can say for definite what your chances are, these unis are all very competitive for economics. For LSE you'll need to be strong in all aspects - personal statement, A levels, GCSE, TMUA. A weakness in any area will likely get you rejected, especially considering you're from a private school so they will expect better grades. Warwick would be the safest of your choices as they're not strict with the TMUA (lots of people got in withs 2s and 3s this year) but you get given a A*A*A requirement if you score below a 4, so definitely still push for a better score. This year will be UCL's first time using the TMUA, so it's hard to say what they're looking for. For UCL though, most accepted applicants (non-contextual) have 3 A*, so I'd defo push for the A* in further maths to improve your chances there.

TLDR: Focus on preparing for the TMUA and writing a strong personal statement. With that you'll most likely get into Warwick, probably UCL as well if you get 3A* predicted. With LSE it's a lottery really, you could do everything you possibly could and still get rejected.
