Data-science/Computer science EPQ ideas
I want to do an EPQ, but I'm struggling to come up with an idea for a topic. I've been thinking about something along the lines of the growth of the use of technology in children (iPad kids) but I'm worried it isn't relevant enough to what I want to go into, and especially as my fourth subject (English Lit) is so unrelated to Computer science I want to have something that demonstrates my interest and knowledge.

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about the topic. It should reflect what you want to study, but it's not too much more than another grade and something to talk/write about in interviews/personal statement
Go read some news stories related to your academic interests to inspire some curiosity, then you can start thinking about questions to ask (and analyze and evaluate, in a 5000 word essay)
