Applying to Oxford English- a level query

So I want to apply to read English Language and Literature at Oxford and I am taking four a levels- English lit, French, Religious studies and fashion, I am coming to the end of my first year of the a level course and I’m considering dropping religious studies as I prefer my other subjects far more than it, I am predicted A*s in English and fashion whilst As in RS and French- should I drop RS or am I massively harming my chances of getting into Oxford?

English Literature, French and Religious Studies are the 3 top 'academic' subjects, and I wonder how Fashion is regarded as an A-Level? Or is it a BTech diploma? 😧 You should continue English Literature, French and Religious Studies as they're the most relevant to your degree. Also, Oxford is extremely 'intense' with 8-week terms from mid-October to early December, mid-January to mid-March, and then it is exams and revision in the final 8 weeks. So, surely you want to show Oxford you're capable of coping with a 'tough' workload? So, perhaps you should continue all 4? Because almost everyone will be studying and predicted A*A*A* or A*A*A or A*AA and a few AAA. But you need to understand that 40% of applicants to Oxford and Cambridge have 4 or more A-Levels.
