A level choices help!

I've done GCSEs now so next up is a levels. I don't know if what I chose is a good mix. I should get good enough grades to go into any of the subjects at my school.

I've chosen to do
Business
Media Studied
History

I'm not too sure about business though. I didn't do it for GCSE and I wanted to do a different subject but it was in the same slot as Media studies which I really want to do and I just had to make a choice for the application.
Instead of business I was thinking maybe Psychology? or maybe a science... Although one of my sister's friends (who went to the same school as me a couple years ago) said that bussienss was a good a-level to take. so I'm really not sure :frown:
any thoughts on my current choices or suggestions for subjects to go with Media Studies and History would be very appreciated!

To be truthful, I would pick Psychology. I know a few people who have taken Business and the people around them find the A-Level or the degree not too useful. But if you have experienced a taste of the course and enjoy it, go for it! Decide if you would like to go with all essay-based subjects or if you would like coursework with one of your subjects—it helps to find the right option for you.

What do you intend to do with these A levels?
Any idea of a Uni subject, possible apprenticeship area, career pathway etc ?

business is very practical, you still get the essay skill but also get to understand why and how businesses work.
in my college, there have been students that have used this knowledge to start their own, successful ventures.

in psychology, you'll need to evaluate comparing around 6 different schools of thought and almost all that you learn will be case-studies. it is not considered a true science.

Good careers website with 100s of career / job profiles
Job profiles | Prospects.ac.uk

Apprenticeship search - see what's available
Find an apprenticeship - GOV.UK

And maybe start looking tentatively at possible Uni courses - example
Undergraduate Courses, Degrees : Study : University of Sussex
