Using your contacts, ask people you know if their parents/family/friends are hiring and try getting a job that way.

Pound the pavement in your locale and ask the shops and businesses if they are hiring. Many will ask you to send them your CV /apply online but make sure you are friendly and say your name, so they'll remember when your CV/application arrives.
3.
If you are fit and strong, approach local gardening companies if they need someone to help. At this time of year, they are very busy and may be prepared to take on an extra pair of hands.
