human sciences ucas

Hello! im an international student interested in studying human sciences (i enjoy the interdisciplinary nature where there is biology and social sciences). I was wondering if there were other similar courses (as only Oxford, UCL and Birmingham offer Human Sciences)? I am also looking at UCL Arts and Sciences

Also, personal statement wise, any advice is appreciated!

Try looking for courses called Combined Honours or Flexible Combined Honours. A few universities such as Exeter and, I believe, Durham offer them.

Hello! Sorry I'm a bit late but I'm an offer holder for human sciences at Oxford so happy to answer any questions (because I know how impossible it is to find advice for HumSci because its so niche!!)

For similar courses - health and medical sciences at Warwick, flexible combined honours at Exeter (I combined anthropology and medical sciences for my application), natural sciences (I know for sure that Bath and Exeter both offer it amongst other places). You could also look into social anthropology (I believe St Andrews offers this)?

Personal statement wise... make sure you have AT LEAST one book in there! I spoke about two books in my personal statement but I'd read loads of others too. Books that look at human sciences quite broadly would be a good starting point this summer - my personal fave is homo deus (written by the same author as Sapiens). But then find some books that link to your personal statement more- make it personalised to you.

Best of luck and if you need any help let me know!
