Oxbridge modern language application

Hi everyone I’m a yr12 student who wants to study Spanish+ another language(preferably French)in either Oxford or Cambridge. How is it like studying in both of them and which one would you recommend? But I only do Spanish and not French for A level and both Oxford and Cambridge say I won’t be able to do French from scratch if I don’t either take it in A level. I’ve checked that both Oxford and Cambridge have got a language centre where I will be able to learn French from scratch there?does anyone know how does it work along with your degree and how many languages can you take in the language centre?

You won’t be able to take French ab initio (from scratch) as part of your degree at either one, meaning you’ll have to choose another language to do from scratch with Spanish (Italian, Portuguese, Russian, etc), or do a joint honours with Spanish plus another subject (linguistics if at Oxford or history if at Cambridge, for example).

I don’t know much about the language centres at either, so can’t be of much help there.
