Fsc Pakistani student -Can I apply directly to UK medical schools

> Hi! I’m a student from Pakistan, currently completing my FSc Pre-Medical.

I want to study MBBS (medicine) at a UK university, especially in London (like UCL, King’s College London, or Imperial).

I have some questions and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience or knows the process:

1. Can I apply directly after FSc, or do I need a foundation year or A-levels?
2. Do I need to take UCAT or BMAT? If yes, which one for which university?
3. What IELTS score is required?
4. Are there any universities in the UK that are more welcoming to international students for medicine?
5. Can I get any scholarships or financial aid?

If any current medical students or applicants could guide me, I’d be very thankful!

your going to need loads of money

“Can I get any scholarships or financial aid?” I think you have to be self funding!
Costs as per link https://www.themedicportal.com/application-guide/ucas/finances/. So for some of those unis you mentioned you’d be uowards of £250,000 for tuition fees alone, never mind living costs. Plus you’d have to be able to get the appropriate visa.

I would recommend doing. A level instead. I don't know about any of these unis who will accept Fsc for med especially. I am doing med at Imperial and int. fee is like £50k per year so you would need funding for that as well.Doing A levels would make it much easier
and also check each unis website and see what you have to fullfill as part of requirements to get in

What is the purpose of doing this and not studying medicine in Pakistan where you will ultimately be working?
