Hi, I was invited to an ITV assessment day. I'm kinda nervous about what exactly I'll be assessed on. Does anyone know what I can do to prepare myself?

I see this doesn't have a reply yet so I will,

Im not entirely sure what this is for or if you mean assessment centre day (final stage in job application) but if it is here is some advice/ prep:

You'll usually start with some mingling between you and the other applicants

then you will either have an interview or group exercise (this can be any order and can have multiple interviews)

Commercial interview- interviews from a department head on current issues/ info on the stream you're applying for, eg how stock markets were affected during covid19 if in finance

competency interview- more on behaviours and specific experiences that you will come across in the workplace- eg: resilience, times you have had to step up into responsibility you're not used to.

group exercise: you and your fellow applicants (usually in a group of 6) will; be given a task with separate sets of data and told to make a decision based on this data, they may add in contradictory data or an issue midway through your discussion time- you then have to make your choice with reasoning and feedback to assessors.

Depending on role you may be asked to do a presentation, though this will either include them preparing you first or it will be on a subject of your choosing.
