English literature- 8

A-Level Predicted Grades:
Biology- A

Volunteering as assistant teacher
Cancer medicine course with Leeds University
Personal business (got nothing to do with medicine)

Is this enough for a conditional offer for medicine with a foundation year at unis like UEA, Leicester, Nottingham (first choice), and Keele?

Im not 100% about predicted grades yet but i think worst it could be is a BCD. Pls let me know about what would happen in both scenarios (ABD or BCD grades) and whether i could get in

I also live in POLAR4 Q1 or Q2 (cant remember which tho) and live in an area with IMD Q1

Hi,

Final year med student at Leicester here! You can find all of the entry requirements for the Leicester foundation course here. I would recommend having a look at the other universities' websites and the Medical Schools Council website which has detailed information about entry requirements for each medical school, including for programmes with a foundation year.

Your work experiences sounds great! Just make sure you reflect on it - what did it teach you about medicine as a career? What did it teach you about yourself? These are the sorts of things they may ask you about at interview. It is better to reflect deeply on a few experiences than just come with a really long list.

I hope this helps! Feel free to message if you have any other questions about medicine, Leicester or university in general.

Frankie (5th year medical student)
