Mature students - Veterinary

I am applying to be a mature student in veterinary - is there anyone with experience of doing this that could tell me their experiences and any good tips?

I did an in-person Access to HE Diploma in Science. I'm due to start at Bristol this year, having deferred from last year.

Have you looked at the universities you want to apply to?

I’m a mature student starting vet med in September this year 🤩 I also did an Access course, but I did mine from home whilst working FT… very doable.

Not sure if I can be much help… but if I can, let me know what it is you’d like to know 🙂

I’m going to the RVC, the interview process there was MMI and a group task. I found it really good, everyone is very friendly and I didn’t find it nerve wracking at all. I think the main thing is to just be yourself throughout the whole process
