English spelling😭

Hi everyone, I really stuggle with spelling words. How can I improve myself? I really don't know😣

Long story short:
I am originally from Syria, and I left it when I was 6 and went to Turkey then there I studied Arabic writing as there was school that tonight it. And iam able to read and write very well in arabic.

Then we decided to go to England and I started school at year 7, and after a couple of years I learnt how to speak English and passed my gcses at grade 5 and 4

But my spelling is quite bad and I really want to improve it but not sure how... Do you have any recommendations?? Please help!

Look, Cover, Check is my advice.

You look at a word.

You cover up that word with something.

You write down what you think the spelling of that word is.

You check to see if the spelling is correct.

Repeat until you feel confident on how to spell a word.

Also your spelling isn't that bad.

My spelling can be bad sometimes, haha

just a question, so there isn't a way to master spelling?

Or shall I do as you told me whenever I misspell something

You were careful to avoid any spelling mistakes in your post, which is good!

Keep a spellings book of words you regularly mispell, is my advice. Avoid relying on computerised spell checkers (i.e. don't rely on seeing a wavy red line under a word to indicate it's been misspelt), and I'd chose between British English or American English spellings (obviously the former are the correct ones).

Also, appreciate that English spelling is notoriously difficult, so just keep practicing with it. It will improve with diligent practice.

'apreasate' is a good one to start with, as you've misspelt it twice. It's 'appreciate', with four syllables.
