First Year Vet School Essentials
Hi!!
For any current or past vet students, what are some things/must-haves that you would recommend bringing? Any items that you would recommend investing in for vet school (scrubs, stethoscopes, shoes, etc)?
Since I’ll be moving away from home to attend Bristol, I was hoping if anyone could also give advice on what would be beneficial to have while living in accommodations/in the city?

I’m a Bristol second year, in the first two years you literally don’t need any equipment other than a pair of wellies for dissection. Scrubs are not needed until mid third year and the same for a stethoscope- wait to buy that as Bristol will give you a discount code.
In halls get yourself some over door hooks and storage boxes. Don’t overdo it on plates and glasses etc you really don’t need that much stuff! For first year, bring a sealable plastic box because when you go to the farm your stuff will stink no matter how much you wash it and you don’t want that to stink up your room or your flat x
