Hey, I took Spanish for A-level, although AQA I have some ideas.
There is this YouTube channel called AstarSpanish, this guy helped me a LOT, not just in GCSE, but also for A-levels.
Secondly, bc it is a language, ofc there'll be loads to remember lol, but if you're worried about that, I think if you focus on as a collective, it seems easier. What I mean by this is, divide Spanish into the different things you have to focus about it, there is listening, reading, writing, speaking, etc. Make plans for each of these, e.g listening, it is worth listening to shows or music in Spanish bc it subconsciously trains your brain to try to understand what is being said, and over time your brain is trained to know the words being said (even if u don't know what it means). Reading and writing are similar, just need to learn as much vocab as possible, and if u cba, try to master the tenses and learn really good phrases that would wow an examiner, examples are e.g. "Cuando sea mayor" (when I'm older), this uses the subjunctive which is taught in A-level, so you're not expected to know that, but if you learn that one phrase your writing is immediately 10X better and you have the attention of the examiner. For translations, it is very important you master the tenses and put your best guess to what the word that u may not know could be, this is where vocab learning is important, I always used to get vocab sheets from school, idk if u would, but worth revising, as well as practicing as much as u can, and writing down phrases or words u dk, really helps. Speaking (probs the worst one IMO), needs a lot of practice. Again, using as many tenses as possible and "wow" phrases are good, as well as practicing by saying answers to your family/pets/recording and listening to learn them. Focus on trying to include present, past, future, and 3rd person perspective. Any other qs lmk, but that is it for GCSE, wish u all the best! Remember, its worth revising Spanish for little amounts every day rather than doing hours of it in 1 day.
