A degree apprenticeship lets you work a paid job while studying for a degree part-time, with no tuition fees since your employer covers the cost usually 4 years and you gain a degree. You get real experience and earn a salary while learning, usually starting in September. You apply online like a job and I found mine through a friend but lots are listed on the government website or even UCAS. Not sure if there are any psychology ones but imagine they would be with the NHS and guess you apply with them too, I started looking in year 12 and most of the application deadlines were October/November of year 13.

check the government website, and the degree and higher listing from amazing apprenticeships to see if they have any? you could also search on LinkedIn maybe by typing up something like 'psychology apprentice' and seeing what companies they work with

It doesn't matter how many years of sixth form or college as long as you meet their entry requirements eg grades

A degree apprenticeship is basically a way to work and study at the same time. You get a full-time job with a company, and while you work, the company pays for you to study part-time at a university to get a degree. The best part is you don’t pay tuition fees, and you get paid a salary while learning.
You apply for a degree apprenticeship like you’re applying for a job. Companies advertise their apprenticeship vacancies on job sites or places like UK government apprenticeship site, and you apply directly to the company. If they hire you, then they’ll enrol you at a university like LSBU, where you’ll do your degree part-time alongside your job.
Most degree apprenticeships start in September, and applications are open from around September to the following summer (depending on the employer). It’s a good idea to start checking from autumn the year before you want to start.
For psychology, there aren’t many straight degree apprenticeships yet, but there are related ones. For example, there are psychological well-being practitioner apprenticeships or clinical associate roles, which involve mental health work. You can check regularly on the government apprenticeship website or university pages like LSBU’s apprenticeship site to see new courses.
