Just finished my A Levels and I highly recommend doing an EPQ (it gets reduced offers to unis and actually helped me learn to research lol) I did geography, business and economics and my topic was the economic impacts of global warming which linked geography and economics!

politics could be a very interesting one to do it on but you also may wanna do on geography as that’s what you’re acc gonna do in uni. you can do it on smth to do w the environment for example. it has to be in the form of a question that you’re answering with the ability to discuss both sides of the argument in length. for example, my one was ‘have nayib bukele’s reforms improved el salvador?’ - example of a politics related one funnily enough, even tho i applied for dentistry.
anymore questions pls lmk

I was thinking of doing one that links geography and politics probably something to do with Brazil and it’s reliance on the environment because of their political place in the world

that sounds rly interesting! and then make sure you’d have three distinct main argument strands to discuss at length. they recommend three that’s why. eg for me , i split mine into economic reforms, political reforms and social reforms.
