Is it possible to earn money teaching online?

I have just completed an online TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. I've also got an MA in literature. Is it possible to earn a living teaching English online to foreign students? Or is it just a side hussle – you know, a way of earning beer money?

Sure you can. If you are skilled enough and have a good talent for that you can gradually become more and more popular.
Online has a lot of opportunities and you can use it to your business development. You can create youtube videos, you can start giving paid online lessons and earn money. Once you become famous more students will come. You can also sell online courses or things like that. Basically it is possible, it will take time and requires a lot of work, but it is possible and the potential is higher than any off-line thing.
