Is my first year grade good enough to apply to oxbridge masters

I’m currently studying Earth science at Durham university and just finished my first year. I didn’t try my hardest this year and a family member passed away during my exams (but I didn’t fill in the extenuating circumstances form), but I managed to get 71% this year, with 79% in my further maths module (79, 75, 72, 68, 66, 64). I wished I had worked harder throughout the year to obtain a higher first this year.
Is this first year grade a good enough grade to think about applying to oxbridge masters courses? of course assuming I work much harder next year to obtain a higher first in second year!
