OCR A level English Language Coursework help

Hi, I’m looking for some help with ocr eng lang coursework please :smile:

Can I use both transcribed and written data for my coursework? I’m doing a comparison which is linked to gender & my “theme”/topic is to do with religion. Is it better to stick to just written OR just transcribed?

With my plan at the moment, I’ll have the same variables, Eg. Limited to a single article and then a single transcribed monologue by one woman & one man, of the same genre & on the same topic. I don’t know if I’m explaining this well, but for example:

1 x transcription (male speaker)
1x transcription (female speaker)
1x written article (female author)
1x written article (male author)

I’m just worried about the word count too (2,500 words iirc), I feel like this might be too much but I’m not sure.
