Student finance - LONG COURSE LOAN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Hi,
will Occupational Therapy (pre-registration MSC), at Liverpool University / Salford University, be eligible for the 22 weeks x £113 (living outside london) long loan.
The course for both is 45 weeks including the placements.
I have asked both Unis and they don't know.

Hi there. We cannot confirm this until your application is received. Once we can process this the dates of your course and how long the extension will be will then be taken into account and you will be informed of the total. Thanks, David

Hi, okay but if it says on the course website 45 week course, we can presume that is is eligible for the maximum amount as this is the only requirement listed?
Do you have any more information on what the criteria is - as it says UP TO 22 WEEKS extra funding (but doesn't say what qualifies this - could you go into this eligibility a bit more?
I cannot afford to do the course unless i know it could be eligible and so therefore wouldn't apply for the funding/accept the offer from the Uni and if only one Uni is eligible i will accept that offer. So it is make or break.
Or can I put more than one uni on the application to find out if it will qualify for the extra?

Hi there. As mentioned we cannot provide any further information on this. You can submit your application now for this course, we will then assess this based on the length of course and you will be informed of your entitlement. If you then decide based on the amount awarded you do not want to continue or attend the course you can then cancel your application online, no payments would be made. As we only provide general guidance we cannot answer how specifically this is assessed by our processing team. Thanks, David
