Hi there,

Great to hear you're being proactive about building your CV networking events can be a fantastic way to do that.

I'd recommend checking out your local council's website, as they often promote career fairs, business meetups, and workshops happening in your area. Also, have a look at Springpod it's a platform that lists virtual work experience and career insight events.

You might also want to check out:

Eventbrite filter by "business" or "management" and your location.

LinkedIn Events follow companies or industries you're interested in and you'll often see free webinars or talks.

Local university or college career centres they sometimes host events open to the public where you don’t need to be a student.

Hope that helps!

How does a networking event boost your CV?

Hi there,

As I mentioned with some of the virtual networking events like Springpod, many provide certificates for attendance, engagement, or completion of group activities. While you wouldn’t usually list specific events on your CV, the skills you develop—such as communication, teamwork, or industry insight—can definitely be included. You can also highlight your involvement on LinkedIn, either through posts or by adding certificates to your profile.

Best,
