Thanks!
- take your own notes. Even if the teacher gives printouts, you won't remember anything by just reading alone
- note and memorise spec definitions because that's where the marks are at (👉•̀ᴗ-)👉
- miss estruch on YouTube will save us all 🫡
- do some wider reading, not only can it come in useful for the paper 3 essay but help link knowledge together
- talk to the people around you, especially in practicals

Thank you!! In my personal statement I added in chemistry by talking about how much enjoyed learning about the methods and history of chemistry and its measurement, and linked it to an internship I did which involved radiology.
As for biology, extracurriculars for me were mostly talks and seminars I attended I found out about through social media or LinkedIn, as well as work experience or internships I did in the summer and half terms.

Hope this helps!

Tips for chemistry year 13 are continuously go back to year 12 and GCSE content. That base knowledge is linked to everything and the year 13 stuff will just feel like sprinkles on top.
Plan your revision!
I had a scheduled time in my week where I'd call my friend in the summer and we'd write our statements, get a snack and chat, write our statements. Worked out pretty well
