A levels for psychology at Warwick

Was looking for someone interested in studying psychology, and her a levels are history, English literature and psychology. Will she be eligible to study psychology at Warwick since she doesn’t have an a level in science? Thanks

Warwick doesn't have any particular A level subject requirements for their BSc Psychology degree. However, for those who haven't taken a core science at A level, they except at least one decent GCSE science grade.

From the BSc Psychology page on their web site, here:

"A level typical offer
AAA or A*AB

A level additional information
You will also need grade B or 6 in GCSE Mathematics or Statistics. Applicants not studying Biology, Chemistry of Physics at A Level are expected to have obtained a grade 6 or B in a GCSE science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science)."

If she meets those GCSE requirements, then she should apply.

Look at the entry requirements on each individual Uni course page -they will state very clearly exactly what A level subjects are essential or 'preferred' - and for Psychology always check for any specific GCSE Maths requirement.

Many Unis will accept just Psychology or a 'science/maths related' subject Bristol, as just one example, requires - 'A*AA including A in a science-related subject - Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Mathematics; Physics; Psychology; and Statistics'. Or look at a more social-science focussed degree like Social Psychology at York, or some of the many general 'Social Science' courses that include Psychology options.
